Supply Chain Optimization Considering Sustainability Aspects

Supply chain optimization concerns the improvement of performance and efficiency manufacturing distribution supply by making best use resources. In context optimization, scheduling has always been a challenging task for experts, especially when considering distributed system (DMS). The present study aims to tackle problem in DMS while two essential sustainability aspects, namely environmental economic. economic aspect is addressed optimizing total delivery time order, transportation cost, production cost pollution quality products contribute aspect. To cope with problem, it mathematically formulated as mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model. Due complexity an improved genetic algorithm (GA) named GA-TOPKOR proposed. combination GA TOPKOR, which one multi-criteria decision-making techniques. assess GA-TOPKOR, applied real-life case set test problems. solutions obtained are compared against traditional optimum from MILP results comparisons collectively show GA-TOPKOR. Analysis also revealed that using TOPKOR technique selection operator significantly improves its performance.
